By bringing historic litigation on the most important concerns about human rights, we confront unfair laws, regulations, and practices. Since 1975, we have been advising clients and providing support for ground-breaking cases. We are one of the few advocacy organizations in the New York that actually challenges injustice and defends your rights in the legal system. This sets us apart from the competition.
There are some acts that have been passed by the governmental institutes in-securing the rights of some population. We have an impact on policy in order to bring about significant and sustainable change for the most vulnerable populations. We make sure that everyone gets his/her rights no matter from what color they belong to.
People with different mindsets live in every society. They can have their clashes regarding the way of living but when it comes to oppressing the legal rights of minorities, someone has to speak up. This is where our experts come in action and we expose injustice and motivate people to speak out against corrupt authority.
Rights Active is a non-profit group. We speak out against unfairness, fight for individual liberties, and engage in political activism to ensure that everyone in the New York is afforded equal rights. We are activists, attorneys, and policy specialists who collaborate in order to defend civil liberties and hold those in power accountable for their actions. Since 1975, we have worked together to make the city a more just and equal space for everyone.
